Are LG Ready to Redefine Your Television Experience?

Across the pond in Las Vegas this week, the Consumer Electronic show is showcasing the year’s most anticipated gadgets.
One manufacturer set to redefine television viewing for the masses is LG, who flaunted the world’s largest Organic-LED TV.
Most people are familiar with the LED TV by now but it’s the OLED screen that seems to be creating quite a stir. Previously little known because of costly production limitations, LG seemed to have overcome this conundrum: “Although OLED technology is seen as the future of TV display, the technology has been limited to smaller display sizes and by high costs, until now. LG Display’s 55-inch OLED TV panel has overcome these barriers”.
The 55” 3D OLED TV measures in at just 4-millimeters thick (that’s thinner than a pencil) and weighs an effortlessly manageable 7.5kg. To put OLED screens simply, they out-perform any TV that’s gone before, they are significantly more environmentally friendly and can be impossibly thin. Those lucky enough to have seen the screen in person have heaped praise on its sharpness and colour; describing the effects as “breathtaking” when teamed with the its 3D capabilities. 2012 should be a huge year for home entertainment and, if you are looking for the best gadget prize incentive this year, the new LG 3D OLED TV’s could be for you!
