Secret screenings, alternative locations and cult classics turn clichéd to curious this Valentine’s Day, with a selection of pop-up London events.

Romance is synonymous with chocolate, recognises the Ritzy, as it matchmakes Romantics Anonymous with Hotel Chocolat. Romantics can indulge in a complimentary tasting session before settling down to the sweet story of a chocolatier’s challenges in work and in love.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s fans can choose central or south to swoon to Moon River. The Prince Charles encourages viewers to dress up for the occasion; with a fancy-dress and Camp Charlie Cocktail Party for £12.50; whilst the Roxy Bar & Screen offers a more sophisticated supper accompaniment, with a three-course feast and prosecco package for £35.
