As well as being an exciting, adventurous and beautiful destination for your prize winners, Mexico is now home to one of the most inspirational underwater attractions in the world. Four hundred life-sized sculptures have been submerged off the coast of Cancun in Mexico to create the world’s largest underwater museum. British artist Jason deCaires Taylor was chosen for the project, which will hopefully reduce the impact of over 500,000 tourists a year visiting the Isla Mujeres National Marine Park in Cancun. The life-sized human sculptures are made out of pH-neutral concrete which attracts algae and other marine life, changing both the look of the sculptures and boosting the local ecosystem at the same time. Visitors are invited to snorkel and scuba between the sculptures, fringing coral reefs and burgeoning marine life during this unique underwater adventure. By combining this with a scuba diving course you could be giving your prize winners both a brand new life-skill and the experience of a lifetime!
